THE DETAILS

ABOUT DEVIATE: DEVIATE aims to craft an electrifying, distinctive experience in downtown Beloit, celebrating the city’s growth, modernism, and art scene. For one night only, the Ironworks Campus will be transformed into a dynamic hub for artists and musicians to showcase their talent. Expect live music, DJs, lighting landscapes, painters, photographers, dancers, sculptors, and more.

DATE: Saturday, September 28, 2024. 6 – 11 p.m.

MEDIUM: Any medium. No, really. We’re looking for artists who stimulate the senses and push the limits of creativity. Event goers can expect to see DJ’s, lighting landscapes, painters, photographers, dancers, sculptors, live artists and more.

NUMBER OF PIECES: No minimum or maximum. Just bring cool sh*t.

SIZE: Your artwork or live art must fit inside your designated area. Exhibits furnished by the artist. Creativity is a must. Booths will vary in size, approximately 10'x20' with electrical provided. Artists are responsible for all materials and construction within booth. The more experiential, the better.

PERFORMANCE ART: Some artists wish to display a more fluid, mobile or performance-based art that would fall outside of a traditional booth space. If this describes your art, please indicate so in your submission. This would include anything from aerial arts to dance to live music.
